Uninstalled Citra today and it deleted (?) my entire desktop

Issue:
So I uninstalled Citra today and not only did it delete everything (and I mean EVERYTHING even prior saves of my desktop) on my desktop…

Is there a way to recover them? Is this a known issue? Those files are priceless to me…

Sorry to hear that, yeah if you installed Citra to the desktop it would do that which is dumb but that is how it is. Best to just leave the default installation as is.

Try use like Recuva asap, the longer you wait the harder it will become to recover since if the free space were the files were gets overwritten the old data will be permanently lost.
