Updated Citra and now I can't load old save states

Issue:
Hey, I just updated citra and now all my old save states don’t work, they say array too short and then crash citra. I know the fix for this is to either load a new save, which I would rather not do as I am very far behind on my current state, or to go back to the old version of citra I had and download that. I want to do that but I do not know exactly which state I had. Is there a way in Citra to check my previous versions so I know which to download?

  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia gtx 1660
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): the one im on rn is 1659
  • Game: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Yeah you have to be careful with save states as they can break between Citra versions. It is important to keep saving in-game every now and then so you don’t lose too much progress. Save states are not replacements for regular saves.
