Using cheats in dqmj3 leads to crashes

Issue:
If i use a cheat the game crashes.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k @4.00GHz
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 960
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1256

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Citra cheat support is not 100% yet, some cheats not working or crashing is expected. check if your cheat(s) require that an specific game update be installed. also try other cheats.

you need to update the game at version 1.1 . here are the cheats i´m using https://github.com/JourneyOver/CTRPF-AR-CHEAT-CODES/issues/45

but im play with the english traduction and some thext appears in japanese wen i apply the update. if you only need a cheat for a short time uninstall the update after.

its working for me.

Did i need one 3ds for do the english patch? (i actually dont have one so if its possible can you link me the game pre patched?)

where can i find the v1.1 version? i only find a CIA version and can’t use it for citra.

No one can link you a game prepatched @arackma. There is no support for piracy here. You have been warned.

google is your friend :slight_smile: . i cant refer you. but i can refer you from the english patch forum , inside this are the instructions (need a 3ds). read the text slowly and you will find the solution, trust me:

I have read every page in your link, Ludovicus, and couldn’t find anything about modding/cheating/hacking in DQM J3, granted I did start skimming after the first dozen pages or so. It’s possible I read something wrong as well, given that I am not using my 3DS and am just using my computer to play (maybe that’s the problem?).

it happens if you use incorrect cheat version.
if you are playing 1.1 version you need to use 1.1 action replay cheat version.
