Using save state while I have custom textures turned on causes the textures to bug out and the game to crash

Issue:
As the title says, I’m playing Fire Emblem Awakening with the custom HD upscaled textures made by a modder of the game. When I use the save state feature of Citra while having custom textures turned on, the textures will bug out resulting in the UI becoming incomprehensible in some parts. This can be fixed by loading the same save state but the main problem is using the save state feature of Citra also has a huge chance of crashing the game. I believe this is caused by the custom textures being turned on because I haven’t experienced a single crash before I used custom textures. The log file I attached is from the last crash that happened from saving the state of the game.
