Now I am running on quite outdated hardware. CPU: AMD Athlon™ X4 750K Quad Core Processor (3.6 GHz) and GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series with 4GB of RAM. Some releases of Citra work better than other but it’s still very unplayable. Is there anything I can do about it or should I wait for a better build or just upgrade my hardware.
Citra is still in it’s early stages and most games don’t run at full speed even on the best computers.
Citra is more CPU intensive. If you decide on getting a new CPU (don’t get it just for Citra alone), make sure it has high single-core performance scores (at least above 1800).
