VirusTotal flagged the latest MSVC build as malware

VirusTotal flagged the latest Windows MSVC build as malware.

I downloaded the latest version of Citra Nightly from GitHub and, when scanning it on VirusTotal, it was flagged by 12 different antiviruses. I know that Citra is an open source project and I’m probably experiencing false positives, but could anyone explain why this happened this time? I haven’t had any issues like this with other older builds downloaded from GitHub.

Thank you for your time and I’m sorry for any mistakes I may have made. English is not my native language.

PS: I’m facing it on MSVC builds.

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

No idea. All our code is publicly available, though the issue with the MSVC builds may be that they’re a relatively new addition to our CI? Can’t say more without knowing exactly what part of Citra they’re flagging.
