Vulkan Testing Build Random Crashes With Mario Kart 7 on Win10

Issue:
I’m on an AMD graphics card, couldn’t get mario kart at full speed consistently, so tried to use the new vulkan build. Vulkan backend crashes when trying to open a game, OpenGL version crashes for reasons I’m not entirely clear on. Log I’m trying and failing to upload is from when it crashed when I tried to resize to fullscreen.

System Information

Diagnostic Log
Getting an error when trying to upload the log. Where should I put it if this site isn’t working?

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

Fullscreen crash appears consistent, using either the mouse to click fullscreen or pressing f11

Changing to fullscreen before launching causes both of my monitors to flash rapidly, but appears to be stable once it’s done flashing.

My first race on startup has conistent graphical glitches- will show them off if I can figure out where screenshots are being saved. I got them to go away by switching tracks and coming back, but that didn’t work consistently. The glitches also looked different every time I ran it, but consistently only affected the road.

When starting in fullscreen, then toggling the option, the monitors flash and the game runs in very slow motion. I pressed alt+f4, and a “do you want to exit?” prompt came up, and under it, the game ran normally again. When saying no to the prompt, the game returned to slow-motion execution and rapid screen flashing. I’d be very curious to know why.
