Weird citra issue i cant seem to find any help for

Issue:
citra will sometimes load a game normally, crash when i try resizing it while a game is running, and when i open citra back up after this has happened, it only loads any game with this black screen and not responding, however the game audio is still playing normally
after many hours of looking at different post i figured it was a drivers problem, which i updated my nvidia drivers myself and it seemed to fix it to some degree, but then immediately reverted back to doing this process
i literally dont know whats wrong, ive tried every possibly graphics related options on and off and it only makes things worse
ive tried and tested both versions of citra and a handful of games i have and nothing changed

Go to File>Open Citra Folder and open up the shaders folder. Delete the opengl folder found here. Now try your game again.
