When I start pokemon ultra sun in citra canary, the game freezes but the game still continues on the background

Issue: Hello, I have a problem with pokemon ultra sun in citra canary and this problem only occurs in pokemon not in other games. First ,as I open my game file in the game itself ,the game freezes for 5 to 10 seconds and then a black screen appears but I can hear the background music and all the functioning of buttons properly. I even tried to turn off the ‘Hardware Shader’ but still the same problem.

Then why am I facing this issue ?

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.
