Reason’s why X/Y is not playable: Pokemon X/Y constantly freeze and crash due to audio issues. Citra emulates a single audio firmware. Almost all games use the same audio firmware that the home menu uses. so when merry wrote the audio code, she reverse engineered this firmware and recreated in Citra. but some games like X and Y use a custom firmware. @wwylele / 白疾風 has been working on a firmware interpreter that can support all firmwares, instead of emulating just one particular one. X/Y uploads a custom firmware to the audio chip. other Pokemon games don’t.

As far as the android app goes: Citra for Android is an unofficial port which was based on months old Citra core code. As we didn’t make it, we cannot provide support for it. However, we are working along with the dev behind the port to bring out an official app sometime in the future.
