Windows Defender deleted citra-qt. Tried to fix it myself but made things more stressful

Any help is appreciated. I’ll share my steps in detail. Today I opened Tomodachi Life to check up on everything, buy the new stuff in shops, etc. Something happened that made me want to reload my save, so I closed Citra and opened the game back up. it was open for 30 seconds before crashing and the shortcut said something like “This program contains something possibly unwanted or harmful” after more double clicking the shortcut said “directory could not be found” I was so confused. I opened up the folder to find the Citra-qt file missing The first thing I tried was backing up my folders before using the installer to install a new directory, then once installed, I put the new Citra-qt application in my backup folder. Still didn’t open and it deleted again. I then found out I had to allow the folders and files through the windows defender settings, so I did that. Opened up fine, but no save file. I tried checking my loaded states, none of them were saved(If anyone knows how to import load states as well, that’ll be appreciated. I don’t mind being set back 2 days rather than having my save file wiped.). Found out that I could restore windows defender deleted files. Tried doing that, but I don’t think it worked since I already had a new directory there and already changed it Tried looking everywhere to find out how to import load states, no answers. Found out there was another Citra folder for file logs, but I am pretty sure that was removed from the replacement, I didn’t even know that folder existed.
I am completely lost, I have no idea what else to do. If I am missing something, I want to know how to fix it. I feel like I am missing something. I don’t care if I am being an idiot about something I just want my save back. Any help or any info is greatly appreciated.

yeah i just updated. and then my citra crashed Windows defender said it found a trojan horse virus after I updated. I need some explaining

im having the exact same problem ive tried reinstalling and i would try use a previous build of nighly but wont let me open citra at all to do so please help

after a quick run on virustotal it seems to be a false flag but idk

Windows released a security update that incorrectly flagged a bunch of different programs. They released another update soon after reversing their own stupidity. So you should be fine now if you reinstall Citra and are on the latest Windows security update (check for updates on Windows update to make sure).
