Xbox One controller only works when wired

I have a Xbox One controller, but it doesn’t work via Bluetooth. The weird thing is that the controller works in other games and emulators, and I’m even able to change the input mapping in the settings, but in-game it just doesn’t work. When wired, though, everything works fine.
