Yo-Kai Watch 3 help save file randomly corrupted

I was just playing, and I had to go to sleep, so I saved (in the game, not in the state) and closed it. Then when I opened Citra, loaded the game and tried to play, but got this message saying my save data is corrupted or incompatible.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Once corrupted, if you don’t have a back-up of your original save data or a save state of your progress, there is pretty much nothing you can do to get it back. That’s just how it is.

As for why this happened. The log file does mention that your game’s extradata save data appears to be missing. Unless you messed with that yourself though, there is no indication that I can see as to why that happened. Though, I should mention that this issue isn’t unheard of even on the actual console itself.
