Don’t do that, you need to unzip all the files to a folder then open citra-qt from that folder and not inside the compressed file.

After updating Citra, I have the same issue with Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. My Mac is on the latest version, and the game was working fine before the update, but now it won’t even open.

please read up above. MacOS support was dropped with an openGL version bump. Please download the 1782 version linked above for mac, as it’s the last supported version for macintosh systems for the foreseeable future.

I have an issue on macOS as well. I’ve downloaded the correct version of citra.
Citra recognizes the games, it starts but I see only a grey window after the game started

Try resizing your Citra Window.
