Yuzu AxiosError: status code 500

Yuzu Emulator Crash and prompted code 500
yesterday I was playing without issues today I could not.
Troubleshoot done:

  • Rebooted computer
  • Deleted %localappdata% folder and reinstalled
  • run as administrator
  • added to avg antivirus exceptions.

nothing worked…
-temporary work around: if I deactivate my antivirus and do a clean install it works.
-but if I run Yuzu and after that in any period of time I reactivate my antivirus. the error code 500 comes back and even if I deactivate the antivirus the code remains, until I do a new install.

You shouldn’t need anything besides windows defender. Disable or add yuzu related folders & files as an exception to whatever you use. Or just uninstall it tbh if it’s being strict with legitimate apps.

Other solutions for that error are to just use a vpn. As certain regions with github get blocked (which is what the installer uses). Your antivirus is more than likely hindering this. Since it breaks yuzu while it is active you won’t get it working until a clean install.
