Zero fps and high speed

Issue:
I’ve been using Citra for a few years now, been updating whenever I can. When I play any game, sometimes the fps turns to zero and doesn’t go back to normal. There’s no specific time after starting the game that this happens. Usually I just press f6/reset but is there a permanent fix?

Lower the speed . That might be the problem .
To do that go to
Emulation < Configure < General < Emulation speed < Lower the speed and if you are using alternate speed go to alternate speed just below click the button within Use Alternate speed.

Core_CPUClockPercentage: 10

Set this back to 100% in the System tab in Citra configuration. If it is not set to 100% then emulation will become unstable.

@tywald that is certainly true

My emulation speed had been on 100 the entire time so i changed nothing. I changed the CPUClock% to 100%, it hasn’t crashed as of yet. Thanks for your help!
